Heartworm Recommendations
Dogs and cats can get heartworms, which can lead to death. Treatment is not available for adult heartworms in cats. Heartworm treatment for dogs is expensive and cannot reverse damage to the heart & lungs. We recommend that all dogs and cats be on heartworm prevention all year in the Valley.
